Employment for Veterans & Spouses
Unlock exclusive opportunities with special hiring authorities for veterans and military spouses. Elevate your job search by exploring these programs:
- Special Hiring Authorities for Veterans: Enhance your job search by exploring special hiring authorities for veterans. Identify your eligibility and navigate opportunities through Feds Hire Vets (OPM) or USAJobs.
- Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP): MSEP opens doors to professional employment opportunities and “portable” careers for military spouses.
- Spouse Education and Career Opportunities (SECO): Strengthen your education and career prospects with SECO. Utilize career exploration tools to understand your skills, interests, and goals.
- Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA): MyCAA offers up to $4,000 in financial assistance for eligible military spouses pursuing licenses, certifications, or Associate’s degrees in portable career fields. Click here to learn more.

The Employment Navigator(EN) and Partnership Program (ENPP) provides one-on-one career assistance to interested transitioning service members, and their spouses, at select military installations worldwide.
Provided outside of the formal DOL Transition Assistance Program (TAP) classroom instruction, the Employment Navigator (EN) will assist them in securing meaningful and lasting post-separation careers.
The Department of Defense Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP) connects military spouses with hundreds of partner employers who have committed to recruit, hire, promote and retain military spouses.
The Department of Defense Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program provides Education and Career Guidance to military spouses worldwide and offers comprehensive resources and tools for all stages of your career progression.
