Whether it’s your first deployment or your fifth, we’ve got answers to the questions you’re probably already asking—from briefings to staying connected while away.
The Deployment Support Program offered by the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) is designed to assist service members and their families before, during, and after deployments. The program provides a variety of services, including pre-deployment briefings, which prepare families for the challenges of deployment, as well as resources like emotional support, financial counseling, and childcare assistance.
During deployment, the M&FRC ensures ongoing communication and support through outreach initiatives, helping families stay connected and informed. Post-deployment, the program offers reintegration support, helping service members and their families adjust to life after deployment, addressing challenges such as mental health, relationship dynamics, and re-establishing routines. The overall goal is to enhance the resilience and well-being of both service members and their families throughout the deployment cycle.
The pre-deployment brief is an essential part of the Deployment Support Program, designed to prepare service members and their families for the upcoming deployment. It covers key topics such as the deployment timeline, available resources, financial planning, and strategies for maintaining communication. The brief also addresses emotional readiness, helping families anticipate and manage the challenges that may arise during the separation.
Pre-Deployment briefings are held every Tuesday at 1300 and Thursday at 0900.

It provides guidance on managing the transition back into daily routines, rebuilding relationships, and addressing any emotional or psychological challenges. The brief also highlights available support services, such as counseling and financial assistance, to ensure a smooth and successful reintegration.
